Dieses Mal stand der Blues im Mittelpunkt der Reise. Das Hauptziel war das Juke Joint Festival vom 11. bis 14. April 2024 in Clarksdale – sozusagen der „Ground Zero des Blues“. Das Festival ist ein Highlight für sich, aber wir entdeckten noch mehr. Denn, wenn man schon über den großen Teich fliegt, will man mehr mitnehmen und das haben wir. Ach ja, aus den geplanten 2.400 km sind dann doch 3.300 km durch Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama und Louisiana geworden.
